Happy Cabbage

Cabbages are known to boost the serotonin levels of the body. Serotonin is known to regulate moods, happiness and anxiety. This vegetable is also known to be Low in Saturated Fat, Cholesterol, High in Dietary Fiber, Vitamin C, Vitamin K, Folate, Potassium, Manganese, Vitamin A, Thiamin, Vitamin B6, Calcium, Iron and Magnesium.

And so, our recipe for today is all about this super veggie.

The Happy Cabbage Recipe is very easy and simple to make.



Ingredients:
1.) Steamed Cabbage (Cut in half)
2.) Diced Tomatoes
3.) Organic Basil (chopped)
4.) Olive oil
5.) Himalayan Rock Salt




Procedure:
1.) Cut the cabbage in half
2.) Steam the cabbage for a few minutes
3.) Dice the tomatoes
4.) Chop some of the basil leaves
5.) Pour some of the olive oil on the diced tomatoes
6.) Mix the chopped basil leaves with the diced tomatoes
7.) Add a sprinkle of Himalayan Rock Salt to taste.
8.) Mix again then serve.

Estimated preparation time:
3 to 5 minutes.

How to cook Laswa

Laswa is an Ilonggo vegetable stew which is healthy, inexpensive, and really easy to prepare. There are different variations to a laswa recipe since the ingredients depend on the vegetable in season

Laswa

1. Boil the water in a cooking pot.
2. Put-in the tomato and onion. Cook covered for 3 to 4 minutes.
3. Add the shrimp. Cook for 2 minutes.
4. Add the string beans, okra, eggplant, and kalabasa. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes.
5. Put-in the saluyot. ...
6. Add salt and pepper to taste.
7. Transfer to a serving bowl.
